Athletic Accomplishments Part 2

The next two guys I am going to speak about are Ma$e and Garrison.

These are very two similar guys in my opinion. They still both have a passion for hoops and softball and they both were on the Ramapo basketball team. Ward went on to play baseball at WNEC and Ma$e went onto making well a lot of $. Their is a reason we put the $ in his name. After WNEC Ward went on to being a very successful salesmen ( making $) selling something to do with checking Vaginas (weird but it pays the bills not so sure Deirdre would appreciate me doing this).

Mase- member of various mens basketball championship riding the coat tails of the famous Caluko brothers to most of these wins. He like many of us have won multiple Shoot the Rock championships. Also a member of one of the most successful Ramapo high basketball team. First Persian basketball player in Ramapo history, Calukos mens league and in the mens high arc league in Ramsey. This is something people of Persian decent should be very very proud of. Hats off to one of the finest Persian athletes in the history of North Jersey.

G- Ward is most known for beating St. Joes of Spring Valley on a last minute buzzer beater in the Ronman inviational tournament in 8th grade. The Wyckoff traveling 8th grade team was down two points with little time left. With guys like Sandberg and DiPisa(the man child in 8th grade) Coach Toal dialed up a three point shot for Ward. We all were shocked in the huddle that the ball was not going to all everything Joe Sandberg or atleast DiPisa. Ward felt no pressure and embraced the opportunity. G comes off 2 screens and absolutely drains the three. The crowd went nuts and he was off to high school. In high school he was a leader on the court and on the diamond. Garrison Ward earned a chance to play at WNEC where he went on to bat .326 and knocked in a team-high 45 runners on his way to being named the team’s
Offensive Player-of-the-Year in 2006 and was a an all league selection. He is the most talented outfielder in all of Ramsey high arc softball. Also one of the top players in the baseball mens league for the Wyckoff team.

Another great example of two fine athletes of the Doolies... Thank you for your time and what not! Thats all folks!

  1. Ward also holds the single season hit record at WNEC.

  2. one of my most memorable moments of G man was when he and jon gossard had this little feud between them and as Gossard jogged off the field, he had a few words for him. G man had a little knack of getting under his opponents skin and i am fortunate to have played with him for 10 years and counting. Did we forget to mention how he got olsen T'd up @ WH??!! awesome!
