Box Scores Galore!

The first step of getting the blog off life support is getting the box scores posted.  So without further adieu, the five box scores (minus the Delta House box score -- it got lost in the shuffle).

Doolies end Season with a drubbing!

The right way to head to the playoffs is by kicking the Shit out of the defending champs and thats exactly what we did..... Talk about momentum..... And we did it in front of a potential first round team we might play next week...the Opals......Our Ace garrison Ward lead us today and will continue to lead us to our first ever Doolies Championship....We played great! I love everyone and we are so fucking awesome! GO TEAM...ahhh nutes get on the blog

Seriously?

Now guys, I know that since I left, that the Doolies Games have just become a group support system for all of you that miss me so much, and can't function without me. That being said, it leaves you no excuse to lose two straight! I mean seriously, how do we lose to the Knights? I mean seriously, wasn't Mr. Spags there to yell at people half-assing it? I mean seriously, we lost to D.O.A? Not those douches. Seriously? Are people not bringing enough beer? Seriously? Is Ma$e starting to wear sleeves?

Fucking Nicky not posting the box score. Come on. How am I supposed to follow my favorite players?

I hear there have been a lot of errors in the infield. Hey Sangiorgi! You need to take charge now! You are the leader on that diamond, you need to start yelling, in hebrew if it is at Pullman. Give Sammy a compliment before each inning, and rub Willy's calves, it helps him concentrate. Be a Leader. Tell Nick to stay in front of it, and whoever is playing catcher you should be stretching out pre and post game (sexually and non-sexually).

I am embarrassed out here. I also believe I will be home the weekend of the championship. If it is the weekend before Labor Day, I will be there. If we are not in it, I will commit Bushido as soon as I land in Newark.

Dear Nick,

You never posted the box score....Stop slacking ur killin me!

Thanks,
Brian

P.S. Anyone care to discuss positions for sunday???? This could get good

Bruce Drennan sums it up...

Ahh Valbuena!!

We played as poorly as we could have played, they hit every hole possible and still only lost by a run. Let's not panic, we'll rebound just fine.

Box score to follow later.

The road is not getting any easier.....Let the posting, blogging and anger out here! Can't wait to hear your comments and concerns for the upcoming schedule.......

So this doesn't exactly tell us anything we didn't already know. We're all alone in 1st place by beating on the teams in 6th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th places. It might not look quite as impressive that way, but championship teams take care of business against the bottom of the league. We've taken care of business where we've needed to and it's all uphill from here on out.

Colorado Bus Leagues

So, since I retired (at the top of my game, might I add.) I have taken a job scouting in the bus leagues of Colorado. I have been everywhere from Denver, to Canon City, to Boulder looking for young fresh talent. Just let me add, that no one out here could even sniff a starting job on this 2010 Doolies Roster. And I mean that in the most serious, and sarcastic way possible.

Miss the Diamond out here. At least you guys are still drubbing every team you come up against. And that makes me proud, like a father, when his son first strangles and kills a prostitute.

Other than that here is a brief overview of what I have been up to. I'll keep it short since I think no one cares what I've been doing. But here goes…

Went for a full day raft trip down the Arkansas river. Class 3,4, and 5 rapids. Its about 2 1/2 hours out of Denver, and I highly, highly recommend it. Cover about 25 miles, pretty gnarly. I also camped out on top of the gorge out there as well. "Super crunchy." Amazing views of the mountains and gorge.

I have gotten banged up a few times out here as well. Drinks are cheap, real cheap. Most bars have like 3 happy hours a day, and a lot of them have 2 for 1 specials during peak hours. I guess they don't know how Jersey kids will absolutely take advantage of this. Rockies fans will party till close after games they win. $1 pbrs all night is a recipe for disaster.

First night started with a free event with unlimited beer, followed by a bicycle pub crawl, which turned into last call in LODO, accompanied by a strange MO session with a 30+ year old.

Birthday = tons of drinks, karaoke in a terrible Mexican restaurant, + Bachelorette Party. Awesome. We also almost got in a fight with some fat slob who was trying to force 3 asian girls into a cab with him. Can't knock the hustle, respect the game.

Been out to Boulder to hang with Alison Daniels, she is wild. Absolutely beautiful out there. And tomorrow I am going to chill with her and a couple of the other Bronco Cheerleaders. So out of my league…. lets get creepy.

I have eaten more mexican food then I care to talk about, but it is all so good you just can't stop.

Looking to close on a place today, so wish me luck.
